Every year there are a lot of accidents where people get hurt and wounded and for their survival, BLOOD, in many cases, is irreplaceable. In addition, during surgical procedures this "gift of life" is basically essential to the final outcome. It cannot be replaced by any type of substitute or synthetic material... That is why it is so critical for us, healthy people, to donate blood, to donate life, and it is very easy to do so.

There are people who recognize this need and they are the driving force for establishing National Donor Blood Centers which help save lives of other people by giving them a part of you.

- total blood volume taken per blood drive (one person) - 450 ml
- frequency of blood drives - once every 3 months

- group B: -around 20% of total population
- group AB: -around 10% of total population
- Rh+ factor: -around 85% of total population
